ASSISTANCE OF PEOPLE IN UKRAINE

FJCU is dedicated to helping refugees who have been displaced by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Many families, including children, women, the elderly, and people with limited mobility, have been evacuated and accommodated in Jewish communities throughout the country.

FJCU has transformed synagogues, day schools, and other facilities into volunteer centers that provide essential supplies and assistance to hundreds of refugees every day.

The Jewish community is providing food, shelter, warm clothes, blankets, medical
care, and psychological support to those in need. Since the beginning of the war,
Jewish communities have accommodated over 10,000 refugees across Ukraine,
providing a safe haven and a beacon of hope during difficult times.

24-Hour HOTLINE: providing immediate assistance and evacuation services

In times of crisis, swift and decisive action can mean the difference between life and death. That's why FJCU has established a 24-hour hotline dedicated to providing immediate crisis counseling and assistance to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
Our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly around the clock, processing numerous requests for evacuation, food, medical supplies, and providing psychological and informational support to those in need.

Thanks to their active work, we have successfully evacuated over 30,000 people by trains, buses, and specially equipped vehicles.

We execute and coordinate evacuations across Ukraine, ensuring the safe transport of large families, the elderly, people with disabilities and individuals from destroyed areas. People have been safely evacuated to neighboring countries such as Poland, Hungary, and Moldova, as well as to Western Ukraine.

The organized FJCU Contact Center operates twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, to provide assistance to those in need.If you require assistance, please call: +380 44 501 87 70

Child relief

At the FJCU, we believe that every child deserves to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment. That is why we have created a program to help children, providing urgent assistance to the most vulnerable children affected by the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Many children in Ukraine have been directly affected by the trauma of war, and our program aims to help those who have been separated from their families, lost their homes, or live with disabilities. We work closely with child protection organizations to identify their needs and provide various types of assistance as quickly as possible.
